A Decade of Creating Ripples of Connection.
For a decade, Neighbors Network has brought together Members, Volunteers, donors, and community partners around one shared belief: older adults should have the opportunity to remain in the homes and communities they love with choice, dignity, and connection.
From a grassroots idea inspired by the Village movement to a thriving network that has provided more than 8,000 services since 2016, every person who has been part of Neighbors Network has helped create a ripple.
10 YEARS. COUNTLESS CONNECTIONS. ONE STRONGER COMMUNITY.
2016–2026
Look How Far a Ripple Can Travel.
In 2016, Neighbors Network became an independent nonprofit with a simple mission: neighbors helping neighbors stay independent, active, and connected.
Ten years later, that mission continues to ripple throughout our community through every ride given, friendship formed, activity shared, Volunteer who shows up, and donor who makes the work possible.
This anniversary is a celebration of how far we’ve come and everyone who helped us get here.

WHERE IT BEGAN
One Idea Can Create a Ripple.
Annette Kelly, Founder
Neighbors Network began with a vision for something different: a community where older adults could continue living independently in their own homes while staying connected to the people and resources around them.
What began as an idea grew into the organization and community Neighbors Network is today.
CELEBRATING TOGETHER
Our 10th Anniversary Luncheon
On September 30, 2026, the Neighbors Network community gathered at the University Club of Winter Park to celebrate a decade of connection, service, friendship, and growth.
The afternoon brought together the people who have shaped Neighbors Network throughout the years, with stories reflecting on the early years, the Member experience, navigating COVID, volunteering, organizational growth, donor support, and the future of Neighbors Network.

Ten Years Down.
So Much Still Ahead.
Our first decade was built one connection at a time.
As Neighbors Network looks toward the next 10 years, we’re excited to welcome more Members, engage more Volunteers, expand opportunities for connection, and continue building a community where older adults can live independently while knowing their neighbors are never far away.
The ripple keeps growing, and there’s room for you to be part of what comes next.
