Cindy Williams
Executive Director
Cindy is an accomplished nonprofit executive with more than 16 years of experience growing programs, teams, and organizations in the education, healthcare, and social service sectors. She also spent 10 years at the Orlando Sentinel managing its corporate giving and grantmaking through the McCormick Foundation. In January 2026, she became executive director of Neighbors Network with funding from the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation.
For the past 10 years, Cindy has done contract work through her consulting company including serving as interim executive director at the Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools and the Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida. She grew funding and programs at the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools as the executive director and served as the director of institutional advancement for the Diocese of Orlando’s Office of Catholic Schools. Earlier in her career she worked at UCF for the College of Health and Public Affairs, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and Hospice of Volusia/Flagler.
Cindy served as a Read2Succeed mentor in Orange County for nine years, a director on the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County Board of Directors for five years and was a Take Stock for Children mentor in Seminole County for three years. She enjoys fostering puppies and kittens for The Pixel Fund, traveling with her husband and children, and being active at the gym and outdoors.
“I helped my aunt through the death of her husband and then navigating life by herself. I wish there had been a Neighbors Network in her city to combat the loneliness and isolation she felt. My hope for Neighbors Network is that it becomes a household name and that more people—friends, family members, doctors, lawyers, priests, ministers, rabbis—know it well and want to use it, and that we will have the volunteers and staff to serve them all.”
